Earlier this year, we were able to sit down with Cherith Mark to discuss language, culture, and her work as an educator. Since then, we’ve been working on a couple of new episodes, but this conversation remains one we’re especially grateful for.

We were honoured to donate microphones to the Nakoda Elementary School so students can continue learning and share their voices. 🎙️

Understanding the implications of the Canada Health Transfer is crucial for First Nations in Alberta. The Canada Health Transfer and the Canada Health Act shape the services our communities receive off-reserve, but they don’t always reflect the unique realities and rights of First Nations Peoples.
