On Truth and Reconciliation Day, the Calgary Pop-Up Care Village brought together community partners to provide free healthcare, food, clothing, social services, and Indigenous cultural supports for Indigenous people experiencing homelessness and poverty.
With 150 community members taking part, the day was a meaningful reminder of the importance of community connection. NCSA is grateful to have been part of this special day and to stand alongside community partners in creating spaces of care and connection.
