What an incredible day it was!

Our Annual Picnic 2026 held yesterday in Airdrie was a huge success, and it was all because of YOU.

It was truly heartwarming to see families, friends, children, youth, seniors, and newcomers come together under the open sky — sharing laughter, enjoying delicious Bangladeshi food, games, music, and those special moments that make our community feel like home. Your presence, energy, smiles, and support turned a simple picnic into a beautiful celebration of our culture, unity, and togetherness. A special thank you to:

- All the sponsors (Rozina Mina, Shohel Howlader, Rony Bhai, Jasim Uddin, Robin Rouf) for their support
- Miraj Restaurant for the delicious food
- The volunteers, Board of Directors and their spouses who worked tirelessly behind the scenes
- Everyone who helped with setup, and kept the spirit high
- Our advisors who are with us at all times and
- The families who made the trip to Airdrie and made the day so lively!

What an incredible week! The Bangladeshi Society of Calgary (BSC) is still glowing with happiness after participating in the 2026 Global Fest at Spruce Meadows (August 27–30)! Our Bangladesh Pavilion welcomed an amazing 4,000 visitors — what a beautiful turnout!The entire venue was so well organized, and the creative energy from the OneWorld team and friends from 18 other countries made everything magical. And those heart-warming drone shows and fireworks? Absolutely unforgettable! Visitors had so much fun posing in our traditional Bangladeshi Bride & Groom photo booth and joining in to learn a little Bangla. The smiles, the laughter, the cultural exchange… pure joy!A huge, heartfelt thank you to:
