What an incredible evening at our very first Director Dialogue in Calgary featuring Rania Llewellyn.

We were honoured to bring together members of the Board Ready Women network for an intimate and candid conversation on leadership, governance, transformation, and navigating the realities of today’s boardrooms. Rania shared invaluable insights from her trailblazing career as the first woman to lead a major chartered bank in Canada, offering thoughtful perspectives on executive leadership, enterprise transformation, resilience, and the evolving role of boards in driving meaningful impact.

Beyond her impressive accomplishments, what stood out most was Rania’s authenticity, generosity, and commitment to creating pathways for future women leaders. The discussion sparked thoughtful dialogue, meaningful connections, and exactly the kind of peer-to-peer engagement Director Dialogues were created to foster.

A huge thank you to all of our BRW members who joined us for this special evening and contributed to such a dynamic conversation.

We are excited for what’s ahead as we continue building spaces where women leaders can connect, learn, and engage in honest boardroom dialogue.
