We were a sponsor of “Lady of the Earth,” a beautiful celebration of Palestinian culture through art, and, dance and energy of dabke.

At a time when a country is so often seen through the lens of conflict, it was meaningful to see something 💚 different: people, culture, joy, artistry, and tradition. A reminder that behind every headline are human beings, communities, and cultures with stories worth celebrating.

Congratulations 👏 to all the young artists and everyone who brought this wonderful performance to life.

We are looking for children and adults to join us in this week's Cultural Transformation Walk.

We will have some T-shirts for the children that says:

"I have learned you are never too small to make a difference." Greta Thunberg.

We are walking to raise awareness that we are one human family worldwide.

Join us for a leisurely short community walk celebrating Calgary’s cultural and religious diversity. People of all backgrounds, faiths, and traditions are welcome - whether you wear a turban, kippah, hijab, topi, or simply come as you are.

Together, we will walk in solidarity, friendship, and mutual respect, sharing a powerful message about the kind of Calgary we want to build: a city rooted in inclusion, compassion, and our shared humanity. As human beings, we stand - and walk - with humanity.

Please, no flags in the event.
