Who We Are

The mission of the Crowsnest/Pincher Creek Landfill Association is to provide our members with a cost effective, sustainable, and environmentally compliant waste management facility promoting clean, green, healthy communities. Who We Serve

The regional landfill serves the geographical area occupied by our member communities, specifically, the Town of Pincher Creek, Village of Cowley,

Municipal District of Pincher Creek #9 and the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass. A limited quantity of waste from outside this area is also accepted. Location
The regional landfill is located approximately 3 km southwest of the Village of Cowley. Primary access is gained via a Municipality of Pincher Creek #9 road originating off of Highway 3 just East of the Hamlet of Lundbreck.

We are currently now closed due to extremely windy conditions. (12:30 pm April 14th) Sorry for any inconvenience, and we hope to be open for business as usual tomorrow.

FRIDAY MARCH 20 11:45 am - Due to the high winds the Landfill will be closed today until further notice. If you have any questions or concerns please call us at 403-628-3849.

March 17, 2026 - Due to very high winds the CNPC Landfill will be closed until further notice.
This decision was made to protect the safety of both staff and patrons. Strong winds can create hazardous conditions on site, including blowing debris and reduced visibility.
With high winds expected to continue over the next few days, please stay tuned to our Facebook for updates on the closure status, or call ahead to the Landfill at 403-628-3849 for current conditions.
We will reopen once conditions improve and it is safe to do so.

Crowsnest/Pincher Creek Landfill will be closed Monday, February 16th in observance of the FAMILY DAY HOLIDAY.
