Foot soldiers wanted! We’re looking for Christian oilfield workers who can help put our “God’s Word for the Oil Patch” Bibles into camp common areas and lobbies, or carry a case of 24 Bibles along when travelling to camp. “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season.”- 2 Timothy 4:2. A simple way to help share Fuel for the Soul with workers who are away from home.

Come on out for our final fundraising breakfast of 2026!

Join us Thursday, November 12, from 7:00–8:00 a.m. at the Calgary Petroleum Club in downtown Calgary. Mark Banham will be our guest speaker.

Many in the oil patch spend long stretches away from home. Fellowship, encouragement, and time together around God’s Word matter. As Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” That’s what we want to share. God’s Word for the Oil Patch, Fuel for the Soul.

Bring a friend or coworker and come on out for a great breakfast and good fellowship. Tickets are available on the Events page of our website:

We’d love to see you out!

We’d love to see you at our next event on June 13, 2024.

In these uncertain times, it's easy for all of us to feel discouraged, and the media is using every conceivable method to pound us with bad news. We may think that the world may not be unfolding as we'd hoped, but Jesus is never defeated, and we are offering you a chance to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life through our ministry.

The Oilfield Christian Fellowship invites you to our breakfast meeting in Calgary on June 13th, 2024 at the Calgary Petroleum Club. This is a unique opportunity to learn about how we are reaching oilfield workers this God’s word at what may be their most vulnerable moments – away from the support of family, friends, and their church community.

Join us and be a part of the solution!

At this breakfast, you'll hear a message of hope from Kevin Throness, enjoy uplifting Christian music by Quinn Throness, and discover how you can help place Bibles and faith resources directly into camps where they will find the hands of those who need them most.

Here's what you can expect:

An Inspiring message: Learn how the Oilfield Christian Fellowship brings hope and encouragement to the oil patch.

Uplifting music: Enjoy live Christian music that will leave you feeling refreshed.

Make a difference: Donate Bibles and resources to support oilfield workers in need.
