Our caseworkers provide individualised support to Albertans, helping them understand their options for various employment-related issues. They also assist with acquiring social supports, benefits and entitlements.

We can assist with retrieving lost wages through Employment Standards, apply for EI and short/long term disability supports for people who cannot work (due to illness, parental leave, caregiving, etc.), and assist with accessing AISH and CPP-Disability benefits. We also help Albertans who have experienced discrimination at work to file human rights complains, assist wth initial applications for compensation due to workplace illness and injury and help Albertans access social supports such as income support (Alberta Works), housing, food banks and more.
