These barriers may include high school non-completion, poverty, health and mental health issues, drug, alcohol or other addictions. Throughout Connor’s short life, he experienced many of these barriers and in October of 2020 some proved to be too difficult for him to overcome. We are heartbroken by our loss but remember Connor as a genuine young man with deep intellect, unique insight, and an amaz
ingly warm heart. A conversation with Connor was always real. He did not speak much but when he did it was with passion. Connor saw depth and value in each person he met. He was willing to do what most of us are not: to simply listen. A true friend to many, Connor was always there when needed most. Connor had a big heart and was always looking for ways to help those around him and we hope that through this project we are able to continue Connor’s “work”. We are currently seeking donations of new or gently used clothing and gift cards or money to be used to purchase inventory, toiletries, and haircuts. 100% of donations received will be used to support the young men accessing the project.
