This fall, memorial banners will proudly line Kensington Road and 10 Street NW, honouring the service and sacrifice of our Veterans for thousands of Calgarians to see.

Financial assistance is available for families who would like to honour a loved one but may not be able to cover the sponsorship cost.

No Veteran or their family will be turned away because of financial circumstances.

This is your opportunity to honour a Veteran's service and sacrifice with a personalized memorial banner displayed along Kensington Road and 10 Street NW from October 1 through Remembrance Day.

Each Veteran honoured will also be featured on our Virtual Memorial, ensuring their story and legacy can be remembered by future generations.

**With Heavy Hearts**

It is with profound sadness that Kensington Legion extends our deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Parker

Our thoughts and prayers are with Parker's family, friends, classmates, and everyone whose lives were touched by his beautiful spirit. No family should ever have to endure such an unimaginable loss, and we hope they find comfort in the love and support of our community during this incredibly difficult time.

We would also like to recognize and thank the countless individuals who came together in the search for Parker. To the members of the Calgary Police Service, first responders, search and rescue teams, emergency personnel, volunteers, community organizations, and the many concerned citizens who gave their time, hope, and unwavering determination—your compassion and dedication exemplified the very best of our community. We are deeply grateful for your efforts.

In times like these, we are reminded that a community is strongest when it stands together. While today's news has left us heartbroken, may we continue to surround Parker's loved ones with kindness, support, and compassion in the days and weeks ahead.

Rest in peace, Parker. You will never be forgotten.
