It was so great to finally launch this pilot project that's been nearly a year in the making yesterday! And it couldn't come at a more necessary time.

Kin Coffee Cart and Kin Market are now open! Stop by Shawnessy YMCA or Saddletowne YMCA Calgary to grab a cup of ethically-sourced Motherlode Coffee or shop high-quality food at a price that you can afford.

The Pay-What-You-Want (PWYW) model ensures that everyone, regardless of ability to pay, is welcome and able to access quality food & drinks and enjoy the community gathering space.

Today we are proud to officially launch 'The Right to Eat Right', a new report prepared by Mount Royal University's Institute for Community Prosperity, that examines how Calgary can grow a more equitable and sustainable food system.
