In Loving Memory of Parker Wells

It is with profound sadness that Springboard Centre joins families, friends, caregivers, service providers, and the entire disability community in mourning the heartbreaking passing of Parker Wells. Parker's death has deeply touched not only our local community, but also countless individuals across Alberta and beyond who followed the search with hope and prayed for his safe return.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, Leadership Team, employees, the individuals we support, and the entire Springboard Centre family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Parker's family, relatives, and all who loved him. No words can truly ease the unimaginable grief of losing a beloved child, but we hope they find comfort in knowing that they are embraced by the thoughts, prayers, and compassion of an entire community.
This tragedy reminds us of the immense value of every life and of our shared responsibility to create communities where individuals with developmental disabilities are safe, supported, included, and deeply valued. Parker's memory will continue to inspire us to strengthen our commitment to dignity, inclusion, understanding, and compassionate care for every individual we serve.
During this time of sorrow, we stand together with the entire disability sector in honouring Parker's life and in surrounding his family with our love, sympathy, and unwavering support.
May Parker rest in eternal peace and may his memory forever remain in our hearts.

“At Springboard Centre, the colors blue and white reflect the heart of who we are and the community we serve.

Together, blue and white represent the balance of strength and compassion that defines Springboard Centre — a place where individuals are supported with dignity, empowered through meaningful experiences, and embraced as valued members of the community. These colors reflect Springboard’s commitment to creating “a community where everyone belongs,” while inspiring hope, connection, and opportunity for all.

On July 10, Springboard Centre will proudly celebrate its 40th anniversary — four decades of supporting adults with developmental disabilities and building a stronger, more inclusive community. To commemorate this important milestone, Calgary Tower will be illuminated in blue and white, symbolizing the compassion, dignity, hope, and community spirit that Springboard Centre has represented since 1986.”

Celebrating teamwork, dedication, and success at the CDSP Celebration! 🎉Proud to be part of this amazing journey.
