Our super fun community event Taste of Nak is happening THIS SUNDAY and YOU'RE INVITED!

Taste of Nak is an opportunity for campers, families, friends, community members, supporters, and those who are simply curious to come to our site and see what we're all about for FREE! Try our activities, tour our site, and spend the day among friends.

We're also excited to celebrate our 80th birthday with you! We'll have tons of memories to look back on and some tasty birthday cake!

As we near the end of May, we're so grateful for the support our generous donors continue to provide.

Our goal for this fiscal year was to raise $35,000 towards our Sponsorship Fund, and we already have received $25,000. This is such a blessing and will help so many families attend camp this summer.

Last summer we sponsored 80 campers, and this year we predict that demand will be matched, if not higher. As May comes to an end, we’re still looking to raise $10,000 to complete our yearly goal, but our bigger wish is that no camper is denied a camp experience due to funds. All donations to our Sponsorship Fund go directly towards giving children and youth a camp experience. If you’re willing and able, please consider donating this month.

Join us June 7th for our Taste of Nak - 80th Year Birthday Celebration!

Taste of Nak is a free event we host each spring to give campers, alumni, friends, and community members the chance to enjoy our site and activities before the summer begins. This year we're also celebrating our 80th Birthday at the event, and would love all of our past and present camp family to be there!

The event will take place from 2-7pm and is completely free to attend. We'll have our activities open and running, as well as other fun outdoor activities like bouncy castles, and visits from our friendly mascot moose, Norwell. Because it's our birthday party, we'll also have a museum set-up with photos and other info about camp's history. And we simply couldn't celebrate 80 years without birthday cake!

Our coffee bar and concession will be open with hot food, drinks, sweet treats, and limited 80th year merch to purchase.

It's going to be a blast, and we'd love to celebrate with you!

There's still space in our Single Mother's Family Camps! The first of which is happening NEXT MONTH during Mother's Day weekend!

These camps are very dear to our hearts, as they give single moms and their families a chance to experience camp together. We do the cooking and the cleaning, and they simply get to enjoy their time as a family.

We know that attending camps can be financially stretching, especially for a family with a single income. These camps are offered at a subsidized cost, and further subsidy is available for families to apply for.

If you have any single mother's in your life with kids under 18, please consider pointing them towards this opportunity. We would love to bless them.

Come to Family Camp for the day!

This year we're offering Day Passes for our Family Camps! These passes will get you and your family access to the entire day of festivities.

Arrive for breakfast, enjoy worship and chapel, eat lunch, ride our activities, eat dinner, then enjoy our evening events (can be family field games, campfire, or fireworks for example) before heading home for the night.

Cost:
Age 13+ : $40 per day
Age 3-12 : $25 per day
Age 2 & Under - Free

🛟 SUMMER JOB HIGHLIGHT 🤿

We're still looking for a lifeguard to complete our Activity Staff team!!

Our Activity Staff do a ton of behind-the-scenes work to help our camp program run. This includes the set up and take down of activities, games, and theme meals. They also help facilitate activities including guarding the pool.

This is a 4 month position that starts April 27th so we're urgently seeking applications! If you're a registered lifeguard who wants to be involved the day-to-day of summer camp program, please consider applying! If not, please share this with any sweet lifeguards in your life 🕶

🏆 SUMMER JOB HIGHLIGHT 🧨

We're still looking for someone to lead our Paintball Team this summer!

Our Paintball Lead works on a team with 2 other staff to program and facilitate our paintball camps. This includes creating the schedule, running activities, servicing equipment, mentoring the campers, and leading nightly devotions. Our paintball ministry is a unique one, focussing on junior high and high school boys only. These guys are usually energetic, rambunctious, and a lot of fun.

This is a 4 month paid position starting April 27th, so we're urgently looking for applicants! If you're interested in making a huge impact on the lives of these jr/sr high boys, please consider applying!
