We’re hosting a 50/50 draw at the Kiwi & Craft Festival!

At Ferne’s Acres Animal Sanctuary, we care for animals who often can’t be adopted due to medical or behavioural needs — and we believe every one of them deserves a safe, full, and compassionate life.

This 50/50 draw helps make that possible.

Half the jackpot goes to one lucky winner, the other half directly supports the animals at Ferne’s Acres, including lifelong shelter, veterinary care, and daily support for our sanctuary residents.

Ferne’s Acres Animal Sanctuary is looking for a volunteer with a marketing/social media background to join our team! We’re looking for help promoting our events and fundraisers, growing awareness for the sanctuary, and showcasing the animals and work we do every day.

If you’re creative, organized, passionate about community, and love telling stories through social media, we’d love to hear from you! Experience with content creation, event promotion, and social media management is an asset.

Adoptable Thor, Thor is a 11month old purebred standard poodle pupper. Thor loves dogs and cats and people. He’s working on his manners. Thor came to Fernes as he was purchased originally from a breeder but proved to be too large and jumpy for his owners who loved him very much.

Our dear sweet Martha has surgery today!!! She sadly had to have an eye removed due to dry eye syndrome. She’s an older girl so often these complications happen. Martha is older but very much still spry and an active member of the herd.

Our art with critters fundraiser that runs this Sunday is a great way to support Fernes Acres Animals. Vet bills are a huge part of our day to day.
