Burnaby Gogos Burnaby Gogos is a group of passionate women dedicated to raising funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers Campaign.

Burnaby Gogos is a group of volunteer grandmothers & 'grandothers' who raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers Campaign supporting grandmothers & children affected by the HIV and AIDS pandemic in 14 African countries. VISION: That the grandmothers in Africa who are affected by the AIDS pandemic will have the resources to provide dignified and sustainable lives for themselves an

d their families. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO: We are part of a movement in solidarity with Grandmothers Campaign groups across Canada and in sub-Saharan Africa. We support the Stephen Lewis Foundation which works with community partners in 15 African countries.

Climate change is making daily life more difficult across Uganda. Fuel for cooking is becoming harder, and more expensive, to access. In communities affected by , these challenges are compounded, as effective treatment depends on access to nutritious food.
