Hello Partner Groups,

I wanted to send a brief heads-up that Burnaby DPAC is organizing a parent-led visibility action on Friday, May 1, 2026, outside MLA Paul Choi's constituency office in Burnaby.

This is separate from the formal May 6 partner-group feedback process. It is a parent-led action focused on one simple message:

Provincially bargained costs should be funded provincially. Burnaby students should not bear the cost.

The purpose is to keep public attention on the issue and reinforce the call for a full provincial funding solution before Burnaby's budget process closes.

If any partner-group leaders or members wish to attend or amplify the parent message in a personal capacity, they are welcome to do so.
