The first responder team is fairly busy attending call after call today. With the liquid gold all morning it just made each and every call more complex and challenging. Our very own Division 304 member, Howard Hum, is leading the charge in one of the many calls with the help of his colleagues in BCEHS and SJA. Their professionalism is top notch. The presence of the BCEHS and SJA makes the event and community safer. Bravo Bravo

Happy Lunar New Year. Kung Hei Fat Choy. Amazing to be part of the actions of the 2026 Lunar New Year Celebrations at Vancouver Chinatown. St John Ambulance is front and center of the parade and first responder team in conjunction with BC Ambulance and Vancouver Police Department. Big supporter to the St John Ambulance including the Province, the City of Vancouver, Division 304 home city of Burnaby, the City of Prince George and numerous MPs and MLA are on hand to celebrate with us.

Welcome to the 2025 St John Ambulance, BC & Yukon and British Columbia Institute of Technology Emergency Disaster Management Exercise event at the BCIT Burnaby Campus. The SJA Brigade members from the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley Divisions are coming out in flying colours to support this important exercise. It gives a great opportunity to the brigade members a golden opportunity to hone their triage, medical and management skills. Bravo Zulu. The collaboration with other agencies including Burnaby Fire Department, BC Ambulance and BCIT Incident Command is incredible. Thank you to the BC Ambulance to give the SJA Brigade members a tour of their ambulance and equipments. This is fabulous. Last but not least there is abundance of food and refreshment for all the volunteers. All triage areas are busy. Way to go St John!

Another day of beautiful weather for this year’s Burnaby Hats Off Day. Lots of laughts, lovely entertainments, beautiful classic cars and most importantly lots of people of all ages. St John Ambulance Burnaby & North Shore Division are well represented and are supported by other divisionals’ members. Because of their presence and support, people and the community are safer. Our roving team members are lending their helping hands and expertise out helping the participants in need. Bravo Zulu. Stay hydrated!

What an amazing St John Ambulance Gala on the beautiful day of May 16 at the world renowned Hyatt Regency in Downtown Vancouver. This gala has raised the profile of the St John Ambulance in the province of BC & Yukon and on the top of all lots if laughs and fun in a nice cosy evening. It is a great success and Burnaby and North Shore Division 304 has a strong showing at the gala. Thanks to the support from the Officer Danielle Zhang who played the great Guzheng music professionally at the gala and lifted everybody’s spirit and Sgt Jorden Tong who was the unsung hero to the Gala leadership team. Bravo Zulu
