💜 Can We Trust Epilepsy Information Online?

There is a lot of information about epilepsy online, but not all of it is accurate or reliable.

Before we trust or share something we find, it can help to ask:
🔎 Who published it?
📅 Is it up to date?
📚 Does it provide reliable and relevant sources?
⚠️ Does it make claims that sound too good to be true?

Online resources can be a helpful starting point for learning about epilepsy, but they shouldn't replace advice from our healthcare team.

Today, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impacts of the residential school system on Indigenous Peoples, families and communities.

Truth and Reconciliation calls on all of us to listen, learn, reflect, and take meaningful steps toward reconciliation.

Today and throughout the year, we can continue learning about the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and supporting Indigenous-led efforts toward healing and reconciliation.
