⏱️ Why Timing a Seizure Matters

Timing a seizure is an important part of seizure first aid. Knowing how long a seizure lasts can help determine whether emergency medical assistance may be needed.

Learning seizure first aid helps us to increase awareness and support one another.

🦻 Research Spotlight

Researchers are continuing to learn more about the connections between epilepsy and overall brain health.

A recent study found that those of us with epilepsy and hearing loss who used hearing aids had a potentially lowered risk of developing dementia than those who did not.

While these findings are encouraging, more research is needed to better understand this connection.
