Community Centred College for the Retired Our College is a great place for seniors to learn for fun, and teach for pleasure.

The Community Centred College for the Retired (CCCR) is a Registered Charity that was established in 1973. We offer a variety of courses for persons over the age of 50 at reasonable prices. Designed to maintain social and mental well-being, our programs meet a variety of needs and interests. There are no tests or grades in any of our programs making learning an enjoyable experience

Spring is finally here! We will be registering for our Spring classes on Wednesday and Thursday, April 15th and 16th from 10 am to 2 pm both days.
We offer two new courses - Intro to Rug Hooking and Basic Internet Skills/Intro to AI tools. See our Spring Semester Schedule here:

Spring is finally here! We will be registering for our Spring classes on Wednesday and Thursday, April 15th and 16th from 10 am to 2 pm both days.

Reminder that we accept payment by cheque or cash. Please see our website in early April for the course listings. Most courses are on-going and will be repeated in the Spring. Thank you.

The Celebration of Life for Diane Roger, our late Secretary, Genealogy Instructor and Course Scheduler, will be next Saturday, March 28th from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Scandinavian Community Centre, 6450 Thomas Street, Burnaby, near Kensington and Sprott. The family welcomes everyone to come and share reminiscences of Diane.

Bridge will resume Wednesday, March 4th, 11:15 - 1:15. Intermediate Bridge players are welcome to this instructor led course.

Internet Safety course - Thursday, March 19th from 1:30 to 3:30 . Please email to hold your spot.

Watercolours - join our new Watercolour instructor for this popular class. Thursdays 9 to 11.

Intermediate Piano - has a couple of spots, Wednesdays 9 - 10:15 or 10:15 -11:30.

Ukulele - has a couple of spots on Fridays. Advanced - Fridays 10 - 11:15, Beginners - Fridays 11:30 - 12:45.

You can register your first day, fee is prorated. Payment by cheque or cash please. See our website for more information. Thank you.
