The ‘Get Warm Project’ is a community blanket and goods drive that strives to ensure that members of our city will be warm this winter. The Get Warm Project aims to establish leadership within our community and actively work towards positive social change. We are currently looking for collaborative help in making our community d
reams come true. Get Warm Project is a local non-profit volunteer-based and grassroots community initiative. The goal is to make GWP an official charity that can run all year round providing those in need the items to survive. In order to get there, we are looking to add a few key team members, external partners and collaborators to take this from a holiday initiative to a year round outreach. We are focused and determined to get into this and gain forward momentum with it. I am looking to learn from others who have accomplished building organizations such as this and who might be open to sharing with me their experiences and advice.

Join us in getting GET WARM BUNDLES to those in need in our community! Volunteer at one of our upcoming Outreach Days by helping to create the bundles and then handing them out and connecting directly with those in need in our community! Not only do you get to rally together as a team to collect the necessary items for the bundles, but you also get to join us in the humbling and heartwarming experience of giving that bundle to someone who needs it. Each day consists of an approximate 2-hour commitment. Each Outreach Day, we have a goal of collecting and building at least 100-150 bundles, each one filled with items that can help keep them protected and warm during the bitter cold months. EACH GET WARM BUNDLE AIMS TO CONTAIN:

(Most items can be purchased in bulk at Costco for as little as $50)
Each Outreach Day has a goal of 100-150 Get Warm Bundles – that’s giving 100-150 people the needed items to not only make them feel good but protect them from the cold! We do understand this time of year is crazy busy so If you don’t have the time to shop and do want to donate, we can facilitate a purchase for you with your donation and provide you with a receipt.
