Live music is one of the highlights of this year’s Neighbourhood Party! Here’s what to expect:
Rich harmonies and timeless songs that everyone will recognize, brought to you by Four on the Floor, an a ca****la group from Vancouver’s Lions Gate Chorus.
A local ukulele artist, Youkeleah, known for her warm, welcoming style and a mix of original songs and family-friendly covers.
A group of talented teen musicians with a lively set of favourites - from classic hits to modern pop and even a few Disney songs.
Music from the 40s to 60s by the amazing Hester Creek band.
Good vibes guaranteed! Come and bring your friends, family, and neighbours.

A big thank you to our community partners: Jubilee United Church, Journey Home Community, Anglican Churches in Burnaby, St. Francis de Sales Parish Burnaby, Community Living Society - who will be hosting interactive booths and activities throughout the day.

We’re also deeply grateful for the generous support of City of Burnaby - Local Government, Grand Villa Casino Hotel & Conference Centre, Save-On-Foods, and Costco.

We are deeply grateful to have received the “Best Public and Private Partnership” award at the 2026 Georgie Awards, alongside our valued partners at @ BC Housing and Community Living BC.
Presented by the Canadian Home Builders' Association of BC (CHBA BC) , this recognition honours the shared commitment and collaboration that helped bring our dream of inclusive housing community in Burnaby to life.
The project began as a BC Housing redevelopment and was made possible through the Building BC: Community Housing Fund, with support and partnership across all levels of government and our valued supporters. At its heart, it reflects what becomes possible when many hands and hearts come together to create spaces where people truly belong.
We are especially thankful to Kathy Louie, Director, Housing Program Delivery at BC Housing, who accepted the award on behalf of BC Housing, alongside FeiFei Peng, Patrick Armstrong, and Nicolas Cucinotta, and Bob Youssef, Regional Director, Vancouver Coastal Region, Community Living BC.
This recognition belongs to everyone involved!

This year, we did another cultural exchange - and our African community brought even more energy than last summer! With great food and great company, we were able to share what our culture means to one another.

Thanks to everyone who organized such a beautiful exchange - the building was alive with music, and we danced the afternoon away!

Our Spring Newsletter is now online!

This season we are taking time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we are being called next. Through it all, we keep seeing the same truth: when people make room for one another, belonging grows.

At L’Arche, our core members are not only supported - they are supporting others. They share their gifts, build friendships, and help create a stronger, more connected neighbourhood.

We’d love for you to read our latest newsletter:https://larchevancouver.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Spring-2026-Newsletter.pdf

We felt truly blessed today to welcome His Grace, Archbishop Richard Smith, to our Friday community lunch. We are so grateful he took the time to be with us and share meaningful conversations with our core members.

His presence meant so much - not only to those he spoke with, but to our whole community. Thank you, Your Grace, for your kindness, warmth, and time with us today. Archdiocese of Vancouver Archbishop Richard Smith
