We are a non-profit, volunteer-driven folk dance club sharing dances from around the world on Tuesday evenings Septemper to June. Everyone is welcome.

World Dance in the Park last Tuesday evening and Wednesdays on Zoom

Join us for our World Dance in the Park last Tuesday evening. We dance at Confederation Park (250 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby) from 7-9 pm by the Cenotaph (weather permitting). Lots of easy dances, most dances are taught! It’s free and great for families, seniors, and all ages in between. Parking is available for free in the park and at the Burnaby North Lawn Bowling Club at 4550 Penzance Drive close to the Cenotaph. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on, sun hat, sun glasses, water for hydration and comfy shoes for dancing.

Join us for Wednesday Zoom dancing sessions from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). Come join us for this FREE weekly Balkan and International folk dancing Wednesday Zoom group. We are open to all who are interested in joining us! Chat time is a 12:45 pm. Our monthly parties are the last Wednesday of every month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). All party dances are led by one of our team members and there is no teaching.

Burnaby Summer Stages, World Dance in the Park Tuesday evenings and Wednesdays on Zoom

Burnaby(IFD) have been asked to teach some easy folk dances this Tuesday from 3:15 pm – around 4:00 pm at Confederation Park Burnaby Summer Stages and we’d love to have as many of you as possible join us.

Join us for World Dance in the Park this summer!

Join us for World Dance in the Park this Tuesday, July 21st with our house band, The Pirates playing for us. It’s going to be a very fun, high-energy evening with the Pirates playing many of our favourite tunes. Everyone is welcome!
