We are a non-profit, volunteer-driven folk dance club sharing dances from around the world on Tuesday evenings Septemper to June. Everyone is welcome.

On June 2nd, it's our season end party at Charles Rummel Centre in Burnaby and on June 3rd is Wednesday Zoom dancing.

On Tuesday, June 2nd, it's our season end party at Charles Rummel Centre in Burnaby and doors will open at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to join us. Wear something festive and feel free to bring a treat to share with everyone. We will have our house band, The Pirates, playing for us. $7.00 per session. First time is free. Stay tune for details about summer dancing at Confederation Park.

On Wednesday, June 3rd is Zoom dancing from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). Come join us for this FREE weekly Balkan and International folk dance Wednesday Zoom group. We are open to all who are interested in joining us! Chat time is a 12:45 pm. Our monthly parties are the last Wednesday of every month from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Pacific Time). Come dance with us! Everyone is welcome to join us for Tuesday evening dancing from 7-9 pm at Charles Rummel in Burnaby and Wednesdays on Zoom from 1-3 pm (Pacific Time).

The last two Tuesday evenings at Charles Rummel are party nights. May 26th is our month-end party and June 2nd is our end of season party. On June 2nd, we will have our house band, The Pirates, playing for us. Please bring a snack to share. Stay tune for details about summer dancing at Confederation Park.

Come on a drop-in basis or make a weekly commitment. $7.00 per session. First time is free. Wear comfortable clothing and non-marking shoes. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated. Final farewell workshop on April 21, 7-9 pm, Charles Rummel Centre in Burnaby, with the featured teachers at Lyrids Festival, Tineke and Maurits van Geel. They will teach International and Armenian dances. First time is Free and drop in is $7.00.

The twelfth and final Lyrids Folk Dance Festival is this weekend (April 17-19, 2026) at Pitt Meadows Heritage Hall an hour drive east of Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our guest artists will be Tineke and Maurits van Geel presenting Armenian, Roma, and other International dances. Zakuska from Seattle, WA will be the Saturday evening party band.
