CUA SFU

CUA SFU CUASFU is a non-profitable organization which has no political associations.

It serves on the social, academic, and cultural aspects of Chinese students (but not limited to them) at the Simon Fraser University. In general, our aim is to provide help and advice to our members for better-suited lives on campus. We organize a variety of events for our members to enrich their university experiences. This is not tailored only to students with Mainland China background, but also

to students from Taiwan, Macao, Hong Kong and other countries. More specifically, our goals are to:
- Provide opportunities for Chinese undergraduate students to enhance and expand their social networks

- Provide both academic and social counseling for our members

- Provide knowledge and assistance to new students who live away from home on life in Vancouver

- Promote Canadian cultures to our members to make their University experience more comfortable and welcoming

- Help to increase awareness of Chinese culture and traditions among the entire university community

DaShan Live Show is one of the biggest events in SFU 2017 Community Summit organized by SFU Public Square & CUASFU. DaShan will share his funny experiences that he used to have in China with the combination of Chinese Cross-talk and Western stand-up comedy performance by using Mandarin during the show, we are warming welcome students who can speak Mandarin and have the passion of knowing more about Chinese Cultures to watch this amazing show！
