"The children are worth it." That's what one walker told me when I asked why they walk every year. After this weekend, I understand it more than ever.

To everyone who walked, fundraised, donated, volunteered and cheered us on: THANK YOU! ❤️

Together, you've already raised over $235,000 toward our $300,000 goal. Those funds help provide 24/7 family-style care for children without families, vocational training and meaningful work for young adults, and therapy and special education for children and families in isolated rural communities.

❤️ Meet Yanli!

Yanli is a joyful 15-year-old who loves music and dancing. When morning dance time begins, she lights up and loves joining in! 🎶

Through ICC’s loving family-style care, therapy, rehabilitation and special education, Yanli continues to grow in confidence and thrive.

👟 This Saturday, we’re Walking the Wall for young people like Yanli.

Every step and every gift helps bring love, hope and opportunity to children and young people with disabilities in China.

❤️ Meet Haocheng! He's one of the reasons we Walk the Wall.

Haocheng is a gentle 12-year-old with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He lives with his family in a rural community where access to rehabilitation services and resources is limited.

Since 2025, ICC’s Outreach Team has been walking alongside Haocheng and his family, providing rehabilitation support and essential equipment, including a customized wheelchair. ❤️

In just 5 days, we’re walking for children like Haocheng. 👟

❤️ Meet Xiu — and see what a lifetime of love, hope and opportunity can make possible.

Xiu has been part of the ICC family since 1999. Today, at 31, she creates beautiful handmade crafts at ICC’s Pathways vocational training centre and has become a mentor and role model for younger students.

The little girl ICC welcomed more than 25 years ago has grown into a confident young woman with meaningful work, strong friendships and a heart for helping others. ❤️

Jiaxin joined ICC’s Family Partners Program in 2020, where our Outreach Team began providing therapeutic and educational support. Today, we’re so excited that she is attending a local special education school and continuing to grow and thrive!
