Since entering ICC’s care in June 2025, Beiqi has made remarkable progress, growing healthier, stronger, and more confident as he embraces each day with joy and enthusiasm. He is an outgoing teen who enjoys being around others and loves participating in group activities. Whenever the there is an event or outing, he is always eager to join. On Aug 11, we celebrated International Youth Day! This year's theme was "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations," which "recognizes that while young people’s lives are shaped by different national and local realities, their aspirations are remarkably similar. Across countries and communities, young people seek dignity, opportunity, meaningful participation, decent work, quality education, and a sustainable future."

Recently, our Outreach Team #3 visited Jinrui and his family. Jinrui is starting second grade this coming Autumn, so the team brought him some stationary supplies for school, including notebooks, pencils, a sketchbook, and colored pencils. He was overjoyed when he saw the teachers bring the stationery set, quickly walking up to them and exclaiming, "Wow, you brought me so many gifts!" During the summer break, he had five booklets of printed assignments, which he completed with his grandmother's company. Our team remarked on the significant changes they observed in him, noting improvements in his initiative regarding communication and social interaction, as well as greater emotional stability. We are excited to continue supporting Jinrui and his family as he begins a new school year this autumn!
