Narrative Sovereignty, Indigenous Deaf Knowledge & Communities.

What is seen. What is erased. What remains.

We invite you to hear from two speakers. Rodney Adams is a deaf Blak scholar at the University of Sydney. Paula Wesley (Siyámotsiya) is an Indigenous Deaf artist and Knowledge Keeper from Stó:lō and Ts’mysen communities. Together they will share Indigenous Deaf knowledge and stories.

We at GVAD are partnering with the PNE for Accessibility Night at Disney On Ice presents Jump In! GVAD has reserved designated group seating for this event.

Share the Disney magic with your loved ones. Remember your first Toy Story movie, singing along to Frozen, or cheering for your favourite Disney Princess. Disney On Ice is a great place to enjoy these memories and make new ones together.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy lead the show with the Magical MousePad. Join new adventures from Zootopia, Inside Out 2, and the all-new Moana 2. Enjoy the timeless stories of Toy Story, Frozen, Encanto, and the Disney Princesses.

Stitch also joins the fun and brings surprises to the show.

Accessibility: The Reliance Theatre is located on the first floor. The building is best accessed from the southwest entrance, which faces Great Northern Way and has automatic double doors. Natalie would like to invite family, friends, classmates, children, seniors, and anyone who would like to participate in her All-Abilities Games Club, with hosted games and community events. Everyone is welcome to join!

Her events are open to people of all ages and abilities, including:
People with disabilities and people without disabilities
Deaf and hard-of-hearing people
Hearing people and hearing families
Seniors and older adults
Wheelchair users and people with other accessibility needs
Children, kids, young adults, and families
People from public or private organizations
Anyone in the community who would like to participate

There is no age limit, and everyone is welcome.

We at GVAD are changing our meeting on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is postponed. We will hold a Special General Meeting (SGM) instead.

Traditional British Panto at it’s rambunctious best! Sparkling, magical, family fun awaits when you join our wacky cast! Come and sing along with toe-tapping music, groan at corny jokes, cheer the good guys and boo the bad in another hilariously funny show with sparkling sets and colourful costumes. A perfect holiday treat for the whole family!

Follow Jack Trott and his family as they battle the evil forces in Witt’s End. Can they find enough funds to buy back their farm? How far will they go to save their village from bankruptcy? Silly gags, popular songs and heroes to cheer on make this Pantomime a must see!

The show runs for 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission.
