1st Port Nelson Scouts 1st Port Nelson Scouts offers opportunities to boys and girls of all ages. Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts and Leadership.

For over 80 years 1st Port Nelson Scouts has been an active youth organization in Burlington with hundreds of youth members who have come through our ranks. Our group brings a world of adventure, outdoor experience and friendship to girls and boys in our community. Scouts have a lot of fun discovering new things and life experiences they wouldn't have elsewhere. Along the way, they develop into ca

pable, confident and well-rounded individuals, better prepared for success in the world. Scouting offers a world where you can discover the best in yourself and the best in others. Dollar for dollar, our programs provide significant value. They run all year round and offer adventures that youth will remember for a lifetime! Please take some time to explore our site and discover the programs we offer. If you would like to learn more please don't hesitate to give us a call and we can answer your questions, arrange a visit with one of our groups or coordinate your registration. It's not too late to register for the Scouting year. There are loads of adventures still to come!

Over the last few days, there has been news from the United States about Scouting becoming less inclusive, tied to pressure from the Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth.

That is not who we are in Canada.

I am sharing this Scouts Canada leadership blog because it clearly states what we stand for:

At our campfire, every voice belongs.

Everyone deserves a seat, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Scouting is about belonging, service, and building youth up, especially when it would be easier to stay quiet.
