Burlington Community Robotics is accepting Grade 9–12 students for our 2027 FIRST Robotics Competition team!

FIRST Robotics Competition is an international robotics program where teams of high school students design, build and program a large robot to complete a new challenge released each year. Teams then play fast-paced matches against and alongside other teams in regional and international competitions!

As a member of our FRC team, BCR Blackout Team 2200, you’ll get hands-on experience building a real competition robot, learn from experienced STEM mentors, develop practical technical skills, and work as part of a team to take an idea from design to competition.

No previous robotics experience is required! We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

We had a fantastic time bagging groceries at Fortinos Upper Middle yesterday!

We were blown away by the generosity of the people we met and truly appreciated everyone who took the time to chat with us, learn about Burlington Community Robotics and support our team. It was a great opportunity to connect with our community, share what we do and spread the word about the impact of STEM programs for local youth.

Thank you to everyone who supported us and to Fortinos Upper Middle for welcoming our team this Thanksgiving weekend and giving us the opportunity to be part of your store for the day!

Thank you to everyone who visited us at yesterday’s Doors Open Burlington event! We had more than 300 visitors who toured our space, checked out our robot and took home their own mini robots. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and hard work with so many people, and we were inspired by the many great conversations we had. We’re already looking forward to next year!

We’re hosting a paper shredding fundraiser on August 15th!
From 11am to 3pm we will have a PaperSavers mobile shredding truck at our shop. The truck has built in cameras and display so you can watch your documents be destroyed. PaperSavers also provides Certificates of Destruction for businesses that would like to participate.

Shredding will cost $20 per box or $10 per bag of documents.

If you have papers and documents to shred, please fill out this form: bit.ly/BCRshredding
This will help us gauge how many shredding trucks will be required.
