We work with Present Hope Ministry to help operate three schools in the poorest parts of Ouanaminthe. The goal is to give the children literacy, health, dignity and the knowledge that they are unconditionally loved by God. Our past missions have included building safe washrooms to protect against disease, installing a water purification system, teaching aids education, running a medical clinic to

treat hundreds without access to medical help. We implement new teaching programs and resources in geography, math and eco sciences for our students and hold classes in HIV/AIDS prevention for the teens and adults in the community. Our new land and the building of a large new school campus is well under way and already welcoming many children in need. We need your help to complete this campus and bring hundreds of children off the street and onto the road to a brighter future.

What difference can a school make?
In Haiti, our school is so much more than a classroom. It provides education, nutritious meals, and healthcare—giving children the opportunity to dream, grow, and build a better future.
But the greatest gift may be something you can’t measure. A school is where children discover they belong, where friendships are formed, where hope is restored, and where every child is reminded that they are seen, loved, and deeply valued.
At the end of October, our team will once again return to Haiti. We go with a simple purpose: to serve, to encourage, and to invest in the next generation. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, to be healthy, and to know they matter.
Your generosity helps provide education, meals, healthcare, and hope to children whose futures are being transformed, one life at a time.

As is Canada, our Haitian schools year is drawing to an end. Our school, Present Hope Institute, is a registered and licensed school campus in Haiti. What this means is, every student at every grade level will sit tests and exams to qualify for next year‘s grade level, and when they have completed their education, their graduation diploma will be a legitimate certificate for employment or higher learning. The opportunities are few in Haiti, but together we are giving these children the best fighting chance.

We have had several generous donors donate laptops and iPhones for our teachers in Haiti. Unfortunately, they are password protected and not wiped clean and I do not have the IT skills to do this. Is anyone interested in volunteering their time who knows how to do this?
