We're only a few days away from our annual Transit Users Forum this Saturday, May 4th! Join us at the Central Library at 1pm to and hear from our esteemed panelists:

Rory Nisan is the Ward 3 Councillor for the City of Burlington. Councillor Nisan’s areas of interest include transportation issues, the environment, managing growth and future-proofing the city.

Gideon Forman is a pro-transit advocate who serves as the Climate Change and Transportation Policy Analyst at the David Suzuki Foundation. Gideon works with transit supporters across the country to help Canadians find convenient and affordable alternatives to the gas-burning automobile. He is the author of a number of recent articles about the proposed Highway 413 and the benefits of public transit.

Ian Borsuk is the Executive Director of Environment Hamilton and a founding steering committee member of Hamilton Transit Riders Union. He has worked with transit activists across Canada and believes that combating climate change begins at the municipal level.

Our Transit Users Forum is back! Join us on May 4th at the Burlington Library - Central Branch to in order to meet our city's growing needs.

The event will feature a panel of transit activists, as well as a state-of-the-system report and a question-and-answer session with Burlington Transit Director, Catherine Baldelli.
