The 2026 CJCR Group Photo Contest is open! This year’s theme, “Impact in Action,” invites you to capture authentic moments that show how the Cadet and Junior Canadian Rangers Programs make a difference through leadership, skills, community service and personal growth.

Submit your best photos in one or more of four categories:
• Leadership in Action
• Skills in Action
• Community Impact
• Personal Impact

Currently active Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers may submit up to four original, high-resolution photos taken between 1 November 2025 and 1 November 2026 (includes those who have left the Programs after completing this training year).

Blackdown CTC Parents & Guardians – Important Pick-Up Information

As the summer training season comes to an end, we're looking forward to seeing our cadets return home with new skills, lasting friendships, and unforgettable memories.

Planning to pick up your cadet directly from Blackdown CTC after the Graduation Parade on Friday, August 14?

If you have not already notified Blackdown CTC, please complete the Parental Pick-Up Form as soon as possible:

Providing advance notice helps staff:
• Update transportation manifests
• Ensure a smooth and efficient out-processing process
• Maintain accurate travel plans for all cadets
• Ensure every cadet gets home safely

Cadets can only be released to a parent or guardian listed in Fortress, or to an individual identified on the Transportation Form submitted with the cadet's arrival paperwork when they reported to camp.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support throughout the summer training season. Your assistance helps ensure a safe and successful journey home for all cadets. We look forward to sending our cadets home with new experiences, lasting friendships, and memories they'll carry for years to come.

Envisagez-vous de venir chercher votre cadette ou votre cadet directement au CEC Blackdown après la parade de fin de cours le vendredi 14 août?

Si vous n’en avez pas encore informé le CEC Blackdown, veuillez remplir le formulaire de prise en charge par les parents dès que possible :

Un avis préalable permet au personnel :
• De mettre à jour les listes de transport
• De garantir un processus de départ fluide et efficace
• De maintenir des plans de voyage précis pour tous les cadets et toutes les cadettes
• De s’assurer que chaque cadet et cadette rentre à la maison en toute sécurité

Les cadets et cadettes ne peuvent être laissé.e.s qu’à un parent/tuteur figurant dans Forteresse, ou à une personne identifiée sur le formulaire de transport remis avec les documents d’arrivée du cadet ou de la cadette lors de son arrivée au camp.
