In 2010, Metis artist Jaime Black created the Red Dress Project, collecting 1000 Red Dresses to represent the missing women and girls in the First Nations communities. It was her way to educate and honour those missing. Today, through her activism, we continue to learn more and to speak out. You can find out more by reading The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls https://mmiwg-ffada.ca/ as well as The Government of Canada Site

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. David Galbraith of RBG for a wonderful presentation last night. Our club was delighted to learn about the history of RBG and of the people who envisioned a garden and ecosystem so unique and enduring.
Several of our members are loyal volunteers of RBG who Dr. Galbraith thanked for their dedication.
