While in Arizona, I enjoy visiting several lodges in the area. I had the distinct pleasure on Thursday to attend Glendale Masonic Lodge #23 where I proudly shared greetings from our Brooks Masonic Lodge #73. The conferral of the E.A. degree was lead and delivered most capably by their 22 year old Junior Deacon and supporting officers. Thank you for an evening of warm fellowship and the presentation of excellent work.

The grave of Lieutenant Henry Sheely, who fought in the Normandy campaign 80 years ago and now lies in our care in Hermanville War Cemetery, Normandy.

As Brothers we love our Fraternity but sometimes life takes us away from the things we enjoy. Don't let this happen to you! Brothers, your Lodges need you now as they always have....actually more than ever before. Don't assume that they will always be there waiting for your return. A Lodge is not just a building but the assemblage of good and upright men who gather there. Never assume that you don't have anything to offer. Your presence and ideas could be the difference between a Lodge closing/merging and thriving in our community. Every single Brother is an asset to their Lodge. We need experienced Masons and Past Masters to help teach the influx of new men coming into the Fraternity. We need your passion and desire to help to ensure our Lodges grow and continue to do what they've always done to support the communities in which we operate. .

On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of extending fraternal greetings from Brooks Masonic Lodge #73 while visiting Acacia Lodge XLII in Avondale, AZ., where I was welcomed by Worshipful Master: WB Chris Chavez, PM. Acacia XLII F&AM is dedicated to the practice of observant Masonry, wherein it was enlightening to witness such precise ritualistic delivery and adherence to detail in their ceremonies.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to visit Sun City Masonic Lodge #72 and witness 2 brothers receive their F. C. degree. It was an honor to bring fraternal greetings from my mother lodge, Brooks Masonic Lodge #73. The photo is of Sun City Lodge W.M. Doug Peck and myself.

Lodge visitation is a privilege that we Masons respect and thoroughly enjoy.
