Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Canada and The World Bringing Awareness To Canada and The World About Bill 141 And Pregnancy and Infant Loss

About Bill 141

Bill 141, would provide for comprehensive health care, for mothers and families who have experienced pregnancy loss and infant loss. This November in The Legislative Assembly of Ontario, MPP Mike Colle introduced an unprecedented bill in support of pregnancy
and infant loss. If passed, Bill 141 would require the Ministry of Health to:

• Establish and expand research initiatives

• Launch an in-depth analysis of contributing factors
• Investigate best practices in other jurisdictions
• Develop programs to help reduce risk
• Advance counselling and support services
• Officially proclaim October 15th as ‘Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day’ in Ontario

Bill 141 is a critical opportunity to improve research, support and care for families in need. Here is how you can help us build awareness and support...
