We’re incredibly grateful to have the roof repairs at St. George’s Heritage Church completed 🙌

Just in time too… because around here, you don’t wait for the rainy season to arrive — you wait for it to find the one spot you forgot to fix! 😄☔

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our donors, volunteers, and community, we’ve been able to get this important work done and keep the rain where it belongs — outside!

But as you might imagine, a building that has been standing tall for 150 years doesn’t exactly believe in retirement. 😉 There is always another shingle, board, window, bit of masonry, or maintenance project patiently waiting its turn.

Every donation, big or small, helps us protect this special piece of Brigus history for another generation.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community and donors, we’ve recently been able to complete important repairs to St. George's heritage structure. These repairs are an exciting step forward in our ongoing effort to preserve this special place for generations to come. We’re building on the momentum—and we want you to be part of it!

Now, it’s time to celebrate!

We invite you to join us at the Brigus Mercantile Social House on Friday, September 11 for a fantastic evening of live music featuring energetic rock band, YYT, dancing, good company, and fundraising in support of our continued preservation efforts.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of St. George's Heritage Church in Brigus. For over a century and a half, St. George's has served as a landmark for our community—steady through every storm and season.

As a group of community volunteers, we are committed to ensuring this historic structure stands tall for another 150 years. To maintain its presence in our community, the church now requires a significant investment. We invite you to join our efforts and show your support by participating in our online 50/50 contest as we honor our past and look forward to the future .
