Recently SSHPCS Board members travelled to Coldbrook and Kentville to meet with Valley Hospice Foundation Board members and volunteers to tour the Valley Hospice and share programming ideas.

Thank you to Gerry Morey, Valley Hospice Foundation Chair, for welcoming us; Terri Milton (volunteer librarian) who showed us the Grief Library; and Holly Gamble for the tour of Valley Hospice.

A heartfelt thank you to the members of the Lighthouse Rug Hookers, a branch of the Rug Hooking
Guild of Nova Scotia, for holding the Celebration Wreath Workshop on May 28 to raise funds for a memorial donation in honour of two of their members who passed away this Spring.

"We miss our friends and their lovely smiles and appreciate the support offered to both families by your organization. Thank you for your care," writes Heather Gordon. They were able to donate $685 to the society in memory of their friends.
