I think Iโ€™ve changed my mind about grief.

I used to think healing meant not being affected by certain things anymore.

Now I think you can heal and still be caught off guard.

A story. A familiar circumstance. News that hits too close to home.

And suddenly your body remembers.

The heaviness in your chest.
The disbelief.
The paralysis.

It doesnโ€™t mean youโ€™ve gone backwards.
It doesnโ€™t mean the healing wasnโ€™t real.

I donโ€™t think grief is something we get over once and for all.

I think we learn how to carry it.

And when it asks to be felt again, maybe the healing is in recognizing where we are and meeting ourselves with a little more tenderness than we could the first time.

Yesterday, I shared a small practice in noticingโ€ฆ

today, these are a few things Iโ€™ve been noticing lately.

Signing books I wrote in sunlit cafรฉs for friends.

The way morning light filters through a fence in new landscapes.

Ghost-patterned scraps Iโ€™ve sewn together that make me smile.

The spoon I bent during a meditation โ€” a moment that still leaves me with more questions than answers.

Blurry night walks in Portugal with people I love.

My sister ordering me pizza in a hotel room after long travel days.

The view from an airplane window that reminds me how vast this world is.

A heart-shaped patch of sunlight on the wall.

A succulent tucked into an ordinary corner of our sweet little home.

Life isnโ€™t made only of milestones.

Itโ€™s built from tiny moments that invite our attention, stir our wonder, and remind us that being here is its own kind of gift.

What have you been noticing lately? ๐ŸŒฟ Iโ€™d love to read about it.

xoxo,
Flower

Breathe & Notice | a 2:23 practice

No complicated techniques.
No trying to breathe the โ€œrightโ€ way.

Just noticing where your body meets the earth, feeling your hands on your belly and heart space, and getting curious about your breath.

Thatโ€™s it.

How do you feel?

I made this because I needed it first.

Breath became one of the ways I found my way back to myself: through overwhelm, grief, old stories, and learning how to live in my body again.

These pages hold the practices that helped me along the way. Nothing fancy. Just an invitation to slow down, listen in, and remember that healing often begins with something as simple as a single breath.

Available on amazon, link in the comments.

This weekโ€™s messages speak of intuition, truth, and trusting the quiet wisdom within.

๐ŸŒ™โœจ

I. WITCH

There is power in remembering who you are.

Trust your gifts, your instincts, and the spark that makes you uniquely you. Stop dimming your light to fit into spaces youโ€™ve outgrown.

Your inner fire knows the way.

II. THE VEIL

Things may not be as clear as youโ€™d like right now.

If confusion or uncertainty is present, donโ€™t rush for answers. Give yourself time. What is hidden will reveal itself when the moment is right.

Trust the unfolding.

III. VOICES

Listen closely to the whispers beneath the noise.

Your intuition often speaks softlyโ€”through gut feelings, gentle nudges, and quiet knowing. You already have more wisdom than you realize.

Make space to hear it.

โœฟ ๐ผ๐“ƒ๐“‰๐‘’๐‘”๐“‡๐’ถ๐“‰๐’พ๐‘œ๐“ƒ โœฟ

Remember your power โ†’ Be patient with what isnโ€™t yet clear โ†’ Trust the voice within.

This weekโ€™s message feels like an invitation to come home to yourself, even if the path ahead hasnโ€™t fully revealed itself yet.

Can I be honest?

I f**king loved tonight.

I left feeling more certain than ever that this is the work Iโ€™m meant to do.

Yoga changed my life because it taught me how to listenโ€”
to my breath, my body, my limits, my needs, and my humanity. It gave me tools that continue to support me both off and on the mat, and it has always been such a privilege to share that with others.

For a long time, I wondered where my voice and approach fit within the larger yoga community.
Tonight, I realized that I donโ€™t have to change the way I teach to belong. I simply needed to find the people and the space that value what I already carry.

To everyone who joined me tonight, thank you for trusting me enough to guide you. My heart is so, so full.

If youโ€™d like to practice with me, as someone new or someone returning,
you can sign up for upcoming classes through Saisonโ€™s website. Iโ€™ll leave the link in the comments. ๐Ÿค

06/08/2026

Nobody warns you that choosing yourself will feel like grief before it feels like liberation.

I think part of that grief comes from realizing how much of your life was lived on autopilot.

Not because you were doing anything wrong.
Not because you werenโ€™t trying.

But because somewhere along the way, survival, expectations, responsibilities, and old stories began making decisions for you.

Lately, Iโ€™ve been reflecting on what it means to become an active participant in my own life.

To stop waiting.
To stop outsourcing my power.
To stop hoping that clarity, change, or fulfillment will simply arrive one day.

Instead, to consciously choose.

To choose what I value.
To choose how I spend my time.
To choose the people, places, and experiences that align with the life I want to cultivate.

And while there is freedom in that, there is also grief.

Grief for the versions of me that didnโ€™t know they had a choice.
Grief for the years spent waiting for permission.
Grief for the familiar stories that no longer fit.

But perhaps that is part of becoming.

Not just awakening to the life you want to liveโ€”
but deciding to participate in creating it.

Iโ€™ll leave you with thisโ€ฆ

๐Ÿƒ What does being an active participant in your life look like right now?
