My view this morning!

So grateful for a beautiful place to call home for the next few weeks.

Thank you MOT / Mighty Oaks staff for your thoughtful support, care and oversight of our ministry in Thailand!

After 32 hours of travel and losing 12 hours it is wonderful to be able to easily meet needs so we can be ready for joining in on the work of connecting, programming and serving. So glad to be here!

The journey begins, and you’re part of it!

We’re on our way! Next Monday, our team will leave Brantford and begin the long journey to Thailand, with a short layover in Hong Kong along the way.

Our theme for this camp is “Arise”, based on Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This theme is all about encouraging children—and the adults we’ll meet—to rise up in faith, trust God completely, and follow the path He has prepared for them.

We’d love for you to be part of this adventure through prayer. Here’s how you can pray with us:

Health: Pray for good health now and throughout the trip.
Guidance: Ask God to place us in the right places at the right times.
Travel: Pray for smooth, uneventful travel and that everything runs on schedule.
Impact: Most importantly, pray that God’s message of “Arise” will shine through and touch the hearts of every child—and adult—we interact with.
