The Grandwoodlands Neighbourhood Association Annual General Meeting is coming up, and we'd love to see you there!

At our Community Meet & Greet in May, neighbours shared some fantastic ideas for making Grandwoodlands an even better place to live, including:

⛸️ Our beloved Community Outdoor Ice Rink..and so much more!

Now it's time to turn those ideas into action.

Come meet your neighbours, learn about what the association does, hear what's planned for the coming year, and discover how you can help shape the future of the community. We are also looking for new volunteers and have executive positions available for anyone interested in getting more involved.

Whether you're a long-time resident or new to the neighbourhood, your voice matters!

As Brantford prepares to welcome the Communities in Bloom national judges, residents are invited to join the celebration by entering the Brantford is Bloomin’ Garden Contest.

How to enter:

📸 Submit a photo of your garden for a chance to win gift cards from Walters Greenhouses & Garden Centre, Fiori Garden Centre and Nicol Florist.

This contest is being offered in partnership with the Neighbourhood Alliance of Brantford and participating Neighbourhood Associations to date, including Brantford Station Neighbourhood Association, Eagle Place Community Association, DCNA of Brantford, Grandwoodlands Neighbourhood Association, Seneca Neighbourhood Association Brantford, West Brant Neighbourhood Association and Holmedale Neighbourhood Association

📣 Just a friendly reminder — our Meet Your Neighbours event is THIS SUNDAY! 🌼

Come join us at Grandwoodlands Park on Sunday, May 24 from 2–4 PM for a relaxed afternoon of getting to know the people who make our neighbourhood home. ☕ Coffee will be provided — just bring yourself, your family, and your own lawn chair!

We’ll also be gathering feedback and ideas for future neighbourhood events — so come with your thoughts and let’s make this community even better together!

We had a nice turnout for our first official cleanup event. 🍃 We even beat the weather. ⛅️Can’t wait to meet more neighbours at our next event. Stay tuned!

Today’s the day! Swing by the parking lot at the Baxter Street entrance to pick up your cleanup kits. 🍃
So far we have all of Pusey covered and most of Grandwoodlands Park. The Shalfleet area, and Sherry Lane are also covered. If anyone wants to hit up Allwood/Joysey area that would be great.

Join us this Saturday as we clean up the neighbourhood. It’s not only a chance to clean up, but an opportunity to meet our neighbours. We’ll meet at the Baxter Street entrance to Grandwoodlands Park.
