🕊️ It is with profound sadness that we share that our dear friend and colleague, Jimmy Powless, has started his journey to the Creator.

Jimmy was more than our receptionist—he was the heart and light of the Centre. His warmth, kindness, humour, and welcoming spirit touched the lives of everyone who walked through our doors. Whether you were a staff member, participant, Elder, community partner, or first-time visitor, Jimmy had a way of making you feel seen, valued, and at home.

His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging to the Gihekdagye Friendship Centre every day. The impact he made on our community will never be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Jimmy’s family, friends, loved ones, and all those whose lives he touched.

💜 Rest in Peace, Jimmy.
