On Saturday, September 19, our walkers will come together to celebrate older adults, remember people who have touched our lives, and raise funds for the Grand River Council on Aging (GRCOA).

You don't have to walk to make a difference. You can support the Parade by making a donation! ❤️

Your gift helps GRCOA continue providing free and accessible programs and resources that keep older adults engaged, informed and connected, including Community at Home workshops, our newsletter, Age-Friendly Calendar, Seniors' Discount Directory and INFO HUB.

Doing a little fall clean-up? Don’t throw that old metal away — recycle it for a great cause!

Skyline Living is hosting a Metal Recycling Event, with proceeds benefiting the Grand River Council on Aging (GRCOA) and the work we do to help create an age-friendly community for a lifetime.

📅 Saturday, September 12
⏰ 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

📍 TWO DROP-OFF LOCATIONS:
Harris Place – 555 Park Road North, Brantford
Cedarview Apartments – 149 Henry Street, Brantford

🚲 WHAT CAN YOU BRING?
Air conditioners • refrigerators & freezers • stoves • washers & dryers • dishwashers • microwaves • water heaters • metal tools • bicycles • metal furniture • shelving • file cabinets • pots & pans • cords & wires • hardware • utensils — and many other metal items!

🚫 Please no trash, wood, plastic or hazardous materials.

Clean out the garage, basement or shed, keep metal out of the landfill AND support GRCOA at the same time!

Join us for another exciting season of programs designed to help older adults stay active, make new connections, and enjoy lifelong learning in a welcoming and supportive environment.
