Friendly reminder that the next Household Hazardous Waste event is this Saturday, June 13.

Household Hazardous Waste days take place at the Mohawk Street Landfill, located at 20 Morrison Road, Brantford, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (ID may be requested to confirm residency in Brant or Brantford).

Remaining 2026 Household Hazardous Waste Days:

☣️ August 8
☣️ September 12
☣️ October 17
☣️ November 21

Household hazardous waste includes materials such as paint, solvents, used oils, batteries, and fluorescent light bulbs. These items should not be disposed of in household garbage due to their harmful effects on the environment, humans, and animals.
