Day Two brought the action! 🚒💥

Today, our campers rolled up their sleeves and took on some of the most hands-on evolutions of the week. From tearing apart vehicles during autoX, to mastering forcible entry techniques, to locating and rescuing a victim during search and rescue scenarios, they tackled every challenge with confidence, determination, and teamwork.

They also had the opportunity to learn about another important role in the fire service - emergency dispatch; and the vital work that happens behind the scenes to help keep our communities safe.

These girls continue to amaze us with their grit and willingness to step outside their comfort zones. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!

Day One is officially in the books! 🚒🔥

From hose rolls and deployments to hose streams and a little friendly competition, our campers hit the ground running. They also had the opportunity to tour the Office of the Fire Marshal Mobile Live Fire Training Unit, learn about bunker gear and SCBA’s, and get a firsthand look at what they’ll be experiencing throughout the week.

If day one is any indication, Camp Phoenix 2026 is off to an incredible start!

A huge thank you to Jessica and Victoria from the Office of the Fire Marshal for joining us for another incredible year at Camp Phoenix! 🔥

Our campers had the unique opportunity to dive into the world of fire dynamics and fire investigation. From understanding how fires behave to participating in a live burn demonstration and investigating the scene afterward, our campers experienced firsthand the fascinating science behind the fire service.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, passion, and expertise with the next generation of leaders. Experiences like these inspire curiosity, build confidence, and show our campers the many exciting paths within the fire service. We are so grateful for your continued support of Camp Phoenix!

Strength isn’t measured by how fast you finish or how much you lift. It’s measured by the courage to keep going when your body wants to quit.

The Pure Phoenix Challenge isn’t just about fitness; it’s about grit, resilience, teamwork, and discovering what’s possible when you believe in yourself.

Watching these girls push past their limits, encourage one another, and finish stronger than they started reminds us exactly what Camp Phoenix is all about.

Huge shout out and thank you to PureImpactAthletics for supporting this challenge and helping make it possible! And thank you to Starbucks Paris Ontario for their ice coffee bar—it was the perfect boost.

We couldn’t be more proud of every single one of them!

Camp 2026 can’t come soon enough.

Every year, we raise the bar.
Every year, campers rise to meet it.

The Pure Phoenix Challenge returns this Friday for 2026… bigger, tougher, and ready to test your strength, grit, and determination.

The only question is…

Are you ready? 🔥
