Did you know Brantford helped shape the future of firefighting?

In the early 1870s, C.H. Waterous built horse-drawn steam fire engines in Brantford, giving firefighters a more effective way to battle fires and protect the community.

More than 150 years later, Brantford firefighters continue that tradition of service and protection.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Brantford firefighters, including this recent trailer fire.

As a reminder, take a few minutes today to test your smoke alarms, check that they have working batteries, and make sure everyone in your home knows two ways out in an emergency.

A working smoke alarm can make all the difference. Stay safe, Brantford.

Great work, Bob.

Listening to residents and building connections across Ward 1 is what strong leadership is all about.

The Brantford Professional Fire Fighters are proud to support your campaign.

Invest in the Best for Ward 1.

I’ve really enjoyed the conversations so far and the opportunity to connect with residents across Ward 1.

Hearing your ideas, concerns, and hopes for our neighbourhoods has been the best part of this campaign. Looking forward to many more conversations in the weeks ahead.

to years of incredible community support at our annual Boot Drive for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Together, with the generosity of Brantford residents, we’ve raised over $100,000 in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada through this event over the years.

This year’s Boot Drive returns September 11 & 12 at the Brantford Farmers Market. Stop by, say hello, and help us continue supporting an important cause that means so much to firefighters across Canada.

Thank you, Brantford.
