August 31, 2026. YAY! Here we grow yet again! Brant Toastmasters formally inducted Mihir, Viji and Deven into its Club. The ritual is a formal ceremony that welcomes new members into a club, celebrates their commitment to self-development, and officially integrates them into the group. Our VP of Membership, Mark Bonkowski performed the ceremony.

Brant Toastmasters — August 31, 2026

What a great night at Brant Toastmasters!
Our theme was “Brush With Greatness.” We welcomed our esteemed Area Director, David Hayes. He observed our meeting, took notes, and gave our club an excellent report. Thank you, Dave.

Table Topics Winner: Lilly Senko
Asked to defend a silent, behind-the-scenes role as greater than a high-profile leadership position, Lilly declared “payback time!” After years of hearing praise for her pastor-husband, she reminded us who was really keeping things turning:
“I’m the neck that turns his head!” 😄

Speaker: Michael King — “Finding Funny”
Michael tackled the who, what, why and how of humorous speeches while encouraging members to step up for our upcoming Humour Contest on September 28. A timely, positive and entertaining presentation!

Best Evaluator: Lilly Senko
Lilly’s spot-on evaluation praised Michael’s timely topic and delivery—and hopefully inspired a few more members to take the plunge into humour!

Brush with greatness? We had plenty of it! ⭐
