π Weβre honoured to share that Willowbridge Community Services has received a 2025β26 Attorney Generalβs Victim Services Award of Distinction from the Government of Ontario.
This provincial award recognizes individuals and organizations working to support victims of crime and raise awareness of victimsβ issues across Ontario.
Willowbridge was recognized for its leadership in preventing and responding to violence against people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including our Healthy Relationships (HER) Project and Your Body, Your Rights: Building Safe Relationships initiative.
βThis award belongs to a much larger community. It reflects the courage of people with lived experience who helped shape this work, the commitment of our partners across Ontario, and a shared belief that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve safer relationships, greater autonomy, and equitable access to support.β
β Devon Atherton, Director of Projects, Willowbridge Community Services
