Becoming a volunteer for Brantford’s Canada Day is an incredible opportunity to be part of something special! Volunteers will receive an exclusive keepsake t-shirt, gain valuable hands-on experience, and connect with others. High School Community Service Hours are available upon request. Opportunities include set-up and take-down, parking logistics (18+), Brantford Green Team recycling and organic waste diversion and more. Volunteers will need to attend required training on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Lions Park auditorium. 📣 Free Community Tax Clinic

The Downtown Central Neighbourhood Association (DCNA) is partnering with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program to offer a Free In-Person Tax Clinic for community members who have a modest income and simple tax situation.

Filing your taxes helps ensure you receive important benefits and credits you may be eligible for.

There are several free programs happening this spring at local community hubs and schools in our neighbourhood. While these programs are not hosted by DCNA, we love sharing opportunities that support families and youth in our community.

• Kids Club (Ages 4–12) – 4:00–6:00 PM
Fun games, crafts, and activities for kids.

• Sports of All Sorts (Ages 4–12) – 6:30–7:30 PM
Try different sports and learn new skills each week.

• Tween Spirit! (Ages 8–14) – 6:30–8:00 PM
Board games, activities, and time to hang out with friends.
