One of the benefits of attending an adult day program is the opportunity to take part in outings. In 2013, ARTC clients and staff enjoyed a memorable trip to Niagara Falls. Everyone had a great time enjoying the beautiful views, taking pictures, laughing, and spending time together.

This December will mark 14 years since my stroke, and I have had to learn to love myself all over again. What I am going through is not always visible, and it has not always been easy, but here I am. ❤️

Living with stroke and aphasia has brought embarrassing, frustrating, lonely, and sometimes even hilarious moments. I am still learning every day. I have aphasia homework and Zoom sessions four times a week, and I am putting in the work.

It is a journey, but I know I am not alone. I want to keep talking about aphasia, supporting others, and reminding people that we can get through this—together. 💜

Last month, clients and staff came together to celebrate TR staff member Natalie with a baby shower. Clients enjoyed participating in a variety of fun activities, including a baby picture matching game, baby bottle toss, and creating a special baby book. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to celebrate and share in this exciting milestone with Natalie.
