Sweet 4 year old sheltland sheepdog Sadie
Welcome little lady
This girl comes with an array of medical needs that unfortunately have been neglected for over a year.
Sadie arrived with bilateral ear infections, skin inflammation and bloody and frequent urine.
Shes also overweight and the extra weight on her joints is already taking its toll on her dainty legs.
Today we did a ton of testing at our vet and xrays to rule out bladder stones which is common in this breed. Thankfully no stones! Yay!
Sadie has no issues with her thyroid and needs a diet and exercise. Her bloodwork is all OK!
Shes got a raging UTI Which shes on antibiotics for.
Shes got meds for her ear infections

We need a foster to adopt home for Sadie who is committed to her weight loss and will keep her on the same food consistently while we rule out food allergies.
Someone within an hour or so from Brantford so she can remain with out vet while we get her ears and uti cleared
Sadie is a sweet natured, gentle dog. She is fine with other laid back dogs but isnt into crazy hyper. Shes good with respectful children and would likely be fine with dog savvy cats.
She walks well on a leash. She is house broken but due to her UTI has been having some accidents
