This year's One Stop Grad Shop will be held on May 20th at King George School (265
Rawdon St.)

This initiative is in its 9th year and has had huge success thanks to our generous community.
Donations can be dropped off at the Brantford Police Service.

This year we are asking for FORMAL dresses, suits, etc. with an increased need for boys suits/shirts as well as boy/girls shoes

**the event is geared toward grade 8 graduates from any school, however we welcome students shopping for prom as well.**

Please be advised that a temporary traffic detour will be in place on Dalhousie Street at Brant Avenue from Wednesday, November 19 to Friday, November 21, weather permitting.

Due to unforeseen conditions, and to support safe and efficient infrastructure installations, westbound traffic on Dalhousie Street will only be permitted to turn left and travel southbound at Brant Avenue.

Drivers needing to travel northbound on Brant Avenue will be detoured north on King Street, west on Wellington Street/Albion Street, and south on Church Street to return to Brant Avenue.

Police Point Duty will be stationed at Dalhousie Street and Clarence Street to ensure transport truck traffic does not enter downtown and follows the designated truck detour.

Residents are reminded to follow posted detour routes to support the efficient movement of traffic in and around the construction area.

It was great to catch up with Jeremy and Dave from the Brantford Police Association in my Toronto office this morning. Ensuring open dialogue and clear understanding of police priorities are keys to effective public policing.

Thank you again for your time and your service to our community.

This is a huge achievement for Fire Fighters including Brantford Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 460. Hopefully this will be extended to every Emergency Service Worker

Brantford Fire Fighters applaud the federal governmentโ€™s move to allow federal firefighters retirement after 25 years of service with no penalty โ€” recognizing the high-risk, high-stress nature of our work.
