CRS Food Bank & Distribution Services offer an Emergency Food Bank Service to Brantford, Brant County, and Six Nations residents, as well as Food Distribution Services to 26 food and meal providers in our community. Children, families, seniors, and youth all access our Emergency Food Bank, and by supporting both individuals and other food and meal programs, we ensure we are offering support to all
those who suffer from hunger in our community. Our experienced Employment Specialists offer resource areas and workshops to adults and newcomers to Canada. We can also provide eligible clients with job trials and job placements with suitable employers. Our job boards and internet service provide access to numerous job possibilities as well. CRS Employment Services can also assist employers in finding a good match for their organization. CRS Christmas Baskets has one simple goal, which is to ensure that no child goes without a toy at Christmas, and no family goes without a Christmas dinner. This program relies on the generosity of our community, and for over 50 years, our community has come together to help those less fortunate. Christmas Baskets opens the first week of November and delivers food hampers within the last few days before Christmas. The success of this program relies heavily on the commitment of our community, and the dedication of our volunteers.
