Brahms Has Been Adopted🐾❤🏠.

This past Saturday was Brahms big day. He left the rescue and headed to his new home to start a new, happy chapter in his life. The pictures and video show a sneak p*ek at how the first 24 hours went for Brahms.

His new family tells us that Brahms is adjusting and settling in very well. They are "so in love with him already".

This is how Brahms and Kodiak's play date went yesterday.

The 2 boys seem to like each other and have been great together so far.

Brahms will be leaving us to join his new family in the next couple weeks.

🥰Update On Brahms🥰

Since Easter, we have been working on slowly introducing Brahms to the members of his potential new family.

Brahms seemed to really like all the human family members, so we decided to go ahead and introduce Brahms to his potential new canine brother Kodiak.

Kodiak and Brahms had several through the fence play dates that went really well. We have had a few on leash play dates now where they are together without the fence between them and they have been very relaxed around each other. Both boys have beat all of our expectations so far!

Brahms and Kodiak have another play date set for tomorrow. If everything goes well tomorrow, we will be moving forward with the adoption and Brahms will hopefully have a family and a home in the next few weeks.

Sushi is available for adoption.

Sushi 7 years & 7 months old . He's the one of the most affectionate and loving cats that you will ever meet. He is neutered, 4 paw declawed and has also had a Perineal Urethrostomy. Sushi's Rabies vaccine is up to date.

Due to Sushi's Perineal Urethrostomy surgery, it leaves him prone to UTI's. Sushi does get a UTI about every 3 - 4 months. The UTI is easily treated with antibiotics.

We are looking for an alternative to a home, for Sushi. We are looking to place Sushi with someone who has a business, studio, store, shop/garage, etc.

Sushi is a little love bug, he enjoys the company of humans, he's loving, affectionate and LOVES belly rubs. Sushi is litter trained and uses his litter most of the time, but he does p*e outside of the litter when he gets a UTI. For this reason, Sushi is not well suited for a traditional home and Sushi can not live outside, due to the fact that he does not have any claws.

Sushi truly is just the sweetest cat, he doesn't deserve to be euthanized for his medical issue. He just needs a different type of "home". Somewhere where he can be around people and soak up all the attention, but in a space that does not have carpet or clothes on the floor.

Sushi's adoption fee has been waived. He is free to the right "home".

Brahms had an unexpected Easter Surprise today.

We found out that Brahms has a family that is interested in adopting him. He had a meet and greet with the father of the family today and Brahms is already friends with the adult daughter of this family. The daughter helps us with let outs and feeding Brahms. The 1st meet and greet with the father went really well and we hope to have another meet and greet for them in a few days.

We are taking things very slow for this family and for Brahms, to insure the they have the best chance for success. It's not a done deal for Brahms yet. He still has a couple meet and greets with the father and then he has to meet the other dog in the home. If all of this goes well, then Brahms will meet the Son from this family.

We will keep everyone posted on Brahms progress.

Honey Has Been Adopted.

Honey left for her new home a couple hours ago. Her new Dad was thrilled to meet her and was very excited to take Honey home.

Update On Carlos

Carlos was adopted by his new family a couple weeks ago. He is living his best life now! Carlos has made himself right at home and found his place in the pack. He loves to run and play in his huge yard, with his new brother and sister. His new family just adores him.

This lucky little boy was adopted today!

Carlos met his new Mom and his new canine brother and sister today. Carlos and his new brother are already best friends. His new sister isn't 100% sold on the idea of another brother, but Carlos is respectful of her and she tolerates him. We're confident that Carlos will charm her and win her over in the end.

Tomorrow Carlos and his new family will make the 6 hour drive back home, where he will start his new life, full of love and adventures.

Update On Brahms.❤

Brahms has only been with us for about 3 weeks now, but he is doing very well with his training.

Brahms can be dog reactive with some dogs, when he is in his kennel. Outside of his kennel he doesn't seem to be dog reactive at all.

Brahms is still a little unsure about meeting strangers, but he is learning how to meet new people in a calm positive manner. He will even take treats from new people after just a minute or 2.

We are also working on leash manners and meeting strangers on walks.

Brahms is a big strong boy and he would really pull on his walks when first arrived. We have been working on this and he's doing much better. He still pulls at times, but he will now walk beside you for about 3/4 of the walk.

Brahms was also naturally protective of his human when he would see a stranger on his walk. Brahms is learning that he does not have to be protective all the time. He is learning how to meet and behave with new people that he encounters on his walks. He is learning to sit calmly and relaxed beside his human, while his human engages in conversation with the stranger.

Brahms has not been dog reactive at all, when he sees other dogs on his walks, but he has not been introduced in close proximity to another dog, just yet. This will come in time, when we feel he is ready.

Brahms is available for adoption. His adoption fee is $150.
Brahms will most likely require 2 - 3 meet & greets with his potential adopter before his is comfortable enough to leave with them.

Brahms is looking for an adult only home. No children and no other pets.
